How large is the aggressiveness of men and women

Many theories that explain how an aggressiveness arises, whether due to biological influences of genetic, environmental influences or because of the influence of the learning process. In addition, there is also assumes that that cultural influences affect aggressive behavior, at least in the cultural stereotypes emerge. In the psychology of gender, there is also the assumption that, the attitude of aggressiveness is also influenced by gender. Whether, aggressiveness of men and women are different? In any situation, both sexes show aggressiveness that stands out, and how the forms of aggressiveness are raised?Often revealed that men are more aggressive than females, is evident from the many different studies with the same indicator. Research experiments conducted by Bandura corroborate earlier premise, that men are more aggressive than women. Results of a cross-cultural study conducted by Whiting Yag and Edward (in Segal et al, 1999) are also worth considering. In the study it was found that the two children, both men and women aged 11-13 years showed a different pattern from several countries, namely Japan, India, Philippines, Mexico, Kenya, and the United States. In this study show that:1. Boys more dominant expression.2. Boys respond aggressively to initiate aggressive behavior.3. Boys over to show aggression in the form of physical or verbal. In girls, aggressiveness manifested indirectly. The shape is spreading gossip or rumors, or to deny or avoid a person as part of the circle, (In Baron & Byrne, 1994).These studies showed that, indeed there is strong evidence that differentiate the aggressiveness behavior between men and women, both in terms of intensity, direction, and other forms of aggression are raised. If more men showed aggressiveness in physical expression, whereas more women to emotional expression.
